Sotho-Taung is a Bantu tribe that only lives in Lesotho. Their name means, “people of a place of lions.” They speak Southern Soto.
Sotho-Taungs are subsistence farmers in Lesotho. They eat porridge made from the sorghum and millet they grow. They also raise chickens and goats for their meat.
Almost all of the Sotho-Taungs identify as Christian. They have a complete Bible and many audio and visual evangelistic tools.
Like all people of rural Africa, the Sotho-Taungs live far from emergency medical care.
Pray for the Lord to draw Sotho-Taungs to become a powerful mission force in Africa.
Pray for the Lord to provide for all their physical and spiritual needs.
Pray for them to put all their hope and faith in the Lord Almighty.
Pray for the Lord to bless Sotho-Taung churches with supernatural healings and brotherly love.
Pray for Sotho-Taung husbands to love their wives like Christ loves the Church.
